While another academic term ends, students still had to balance equations given at the math fair contest held in School today.
Students were divided into Teams A and B and gathered team points as the contest ran for an hour.
Some questions were a walk in the park and others had the students focused all throughout as they competed for the best total score.
Team A won the contest with a score of 145 points to 115 points of Team B.
The math fair contest is part of the School’s extra curricular activities as term 2 end exams finished yesterday.
The contest is a non competitive problem solving event that gives teachers the opportunity to have their students do solving with a particular goal in mind.
The math fair can be adapted to almost any curriculum and set of standards and it will motivate and inspire all students.
